Bad Activist Podcast

“The Bad Activist Podcast explores the trials and tribulations of trying to be a perfect activist in an utterly imperfect world. With conversations between friends and guests, the Bad Activist Podcast is a space where we learn and grow by being challenged, hearing new perspectives, learning new things, collectively readjusting and moving forward with a better understanding of how we can push for a better world.”

I wrote the theme for this podcast creating something that had a positive feel as well as being serious enough to match the issues that were being discussed.

This podcast is recorded remotely. I help everyone record the best they can with the equipment they have as well as collecting all the files together. I then edit the podcast, making it punchy, snappy and fun to listen to while keeping all the important and subtleties of the subjects being discussed. As the podcast is recorded on different equipment, I do a lot of mix work to balance the audio as much as possible and repair audio recorded over zoom or on phones to sound as pro as possible.
